Terms of Use

  • Introduction These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Amy Doar, LPC-S website and related services (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, scheduling a consultation, or otherwise interacting with Amy Doar, LPC-S (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority, do not use the Site or submit personal information except through a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

  • Professional Services and No Guarantee of Results The Site provides information about our counseling and therapy services, including in-person and online therapy for military, LGBTQIA+, ADHD, neurodivergent individuals, anxiety, depression, grief, and chronic illness. Use of the Site or contact with us does not create a therapist-client relationship. Any information provided on the Site is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. While we strive to provide helpful, ethical, and professional care, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from therapy.

  • Formation of Therapist-Client Relationship

    • A therapist-client relationship is created only after you complete the intake/consent process, sign required forms, and we confirm we will provide services. Contacting us, requesting an appointment, or using a “schedule” or “contact” form does not by itself create a therapist-client relationship.
